NHRA NATIONALS FANS: Deadline for buying advance tickets is THIS WEDNESDAY. Show More

Nobody celebrates the Fourth of July like BIR

The 32nd Annual PleasureLand RV Show & Go is a Fourth of July tradition for race fans, with a three-day schedule that’s packed full of drag racing, road racing, a classic car show, fireworks, live music and more. The event is June 29-July 1.

The main event will be on the dragstrip where the Muscle Car Series will be pounding the pavement for three days. It’s phenomenal drag racing featuring the seven Heads-Up Classes, which treat fans to serious horsepower that produces 6- to 7-second runs and speeds well over 200 mph. They’ll be battling in the second race of the three-race Muscle Car Series. It’s intense drag racing that brings race fans back year after year.

Drivers in the Muscle Car Series are competing for series points, prize money, and ultimately, a series championship. The race features cars in Outlaw Pro Mod, Outlaw, King Street, Real Street, True Street and 660 Outlaw Street classes. The race will also includes 10 Index classes, the winners of which have a separate run-off to crown the Index Class Champion. Three Strip Eliminator classes, Truck Eliminator and Manual Transmission class round out the race schedule. It’s a full weekend of racing, with qualifying that runs Friday and Saturday, and eliminations on Sunday.

The 2.5-mile Competition Road Course will be busy as well all weekend, with amazing wheel-to-wheel road racing courtesy of the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA). The SCCA is hosting its Mid-Summer Classic Double Divisional. Fans will see some unique race cars, including those racing in the popular Vintage Class. Practice and qualifying are on Saturday, with racing on Sunday.

The Show & Go wouldn’t be the same without a bunch of other activities off the track. Saturday’s schedule includes a Classic Car Show in front of the brick condos, a spectacular fireworks display and live music at The Wheelie Bar & Grille.

Celebrate your Fourth of July weekend with BIR!
