The Bracket Drag Racing Series is on the dragstrip for the final race of the season, with series championships on the line. Saturday’s race is the annual Wally Race, where most of the class winners take home Wally trophies. Autocross competition is running on the Pro Pad on Saturday, and there will be Standing Start on the road course Sunday.
Imports and sport compacts invade BIR this weekend for drifting, autocross and open lapping on the road course. Because of restrictions from the COVID-19 pandemic, we have to limit the number of drivers, crew members and spectators, so register right away.

It’s the second of six weekends for the Bracket Drag Racing Series, with two days for eliminations, Saturday and Sunday. It’s also the Midwest Class Racers weekend, with extra payouts for the Stock/Super Stock class. The BIR Performance Driving School will be on the road course on Saturday for a private event, and then the Slowpokes Car Club will take to the road course on Sunday. There’s also autocross competition Saturday and Sunday on the pro pad.
It’s the biggest motorsports race in the Midwest featuring the best drag racers on the planet and fire-belching dragsters that fly down the track at 320+ mph. The pits are always open, on-site camping, live music and much more.
PleasureLand RV Center will take over BIR for its Brainerd RV Show & Sale, featuring over 200 RVs and campers for sale. The show is free and open to the public.

The Slowpokes car club is on the 2.5-mile Competition Road Course for a full-day driving event. It’s a great chance to polish your riding skills. Open to all drivers, Slowpokes just requires that all drivers are at least 18 years old and have completed a high-speed driving school, like the BIR Performance Driving School.
