Get your NASCAR fix during the ‘NAPA Know-How 125’
The NASCAR K&N Pro Series returns to BIR May 25 for the NAPA Know-How 125, a thrilling 50-lap, 125-mile race by the rising stars of NASCAR racing. The K&N Pro Series debuted at BIR last year and featured 21-year-old Michael Self patiently waiting in third place for 40 laps before making his move. He passed the leader with two laps left to win in amazing fashion.
The K&N Pro Series is a developmental series for the up-and-comers in NASCAR, and you can tell by the high quality of racing that some of these young guns have their eyes on the prize: Nationwide Series and Sprint Cup. Many of the drivers are still in high school, but they drive like seasoned pros. Don’t let their baby faces fool you – these guys are fierce competitors. And that’s good news for race fans.
The NAPA Know-How 125 is part of the 5th Annual Street Car Showdown, which features NASCAR and SCCA Harvey West Classic on the 2.5-mile Competition Road Course and the kick off to the three-race Muscle Car Series on the drag strip. It’s a wicked trifecta of racing for motorsports fans. Click here for details.
