Attention NHRA Nationals campers and Racer Banquet attendees! There are deadlines this week that may be of interest to you.
If you haven’t renewed your campsite for the 2019 Lucas Oil NHRA Nationals yet or if you haven’t registered for Saturday’s Racer Banquet, keep reading.
Thursday, Feb. 21 is the deadline to renew your reserved campsite for the Lucas Oil NHRA Nationals in August. For fans who had a reserved campsite last year and want to reserve one again this year, you need to contact the Ticket Office before Thursday at 1-866-444-4455. You should’ve received a letter in December that outlined how to do that but if not, call right away so you don’t lose your spot. If you need ticket and camping prices for Nationals, click here.
Tuesday, Feb. 19 is the deadline to register for the 2019 Racer Banquet, which is this Saturday at the Arrowwood Lodge in Brainerd. You must register to attend the banquet, which includes dinner. Contact the Ticket Office before the end of day Tuesday to register.
The banquet program starts with social hour at 5 p.m., followed by dinner at 6 p.m. The awards ceremony follows dinner. The cost for the banquet is $38 per person, $17 each for kids 8-12 years old, and $11 each for kids 4-7 years old. Please be aware that those who attend the banquet must pay for dinner as well. Class champions each receive a complimentary banquet meal (non-transferrable).
The Racer Banquet is BIR’s chance to recognize the top drag racers during the 2018 season. Champions of BIR’s Bracket Drag Racing Series and Muscle Car Series will be honored, and individual awards will be given out as well. It’s a fun night for racers as well as their families and friends.
