SCCA Jack Pine Sprints returns to BIR

Bracket drag racers will be battling on the drag strip

The Sports Car Club of America's (SCCA) Land 'O Lakes Region is bringing its thrilling brand of road racing to Brainerd International Raceway again this year. It's the return of the SCCA Jack Pine Sprints July 8-10 on BIR's 2.5-mile, 13-turn Competition Road Course.

Nobody offers the variety and quality of road racing like the SCCA, which will feature amateur road racers from throughout the Midwest in a variety of classes where fans can see their favorite high performance sports cars, like GTs, Formula cars, Morgans, TVRs, Spec Racer Fords, Lolas, muscle cars, vintage racers and more. Drivers will be competing for series points.

The SCCA will be sharing BIR with the Bracket Drag Racing Series, which will be on the drag strip all weekend, with Test & Tune Friday, qualifying on Saturday and eliminations on Sunday. It's the third race in the five-race series, and series points will be at a premium as racers vie for a series championship.
