Jackpot Payout Jackpot payout pays back 80% of race entry fee. Any bye-round monies will be added to the winner & runner-up payout. All monies are rounded to the nearest dollar. Example:
Jackpot payout example – 28 cars, $65 entry. Unless a class has a perfect field of 8,16,32,64… there are blank spots on the ladder, if money falls in an empty paying position it is split between the winner/runner up by the pool. With 28 cars there is only 3 out of 4 round 3 payouts, unpaid monies add to the pool. 28 cars x $65 = $1820 (80% = $1456 purse paid) 1- Win = 582.4+38.2 =621 1- R/U = 364 + 16.3 = 380 2- Semi = 146 3-Rd 3= 55 (with $54.6 left for the pool) 621 + 380 + (2x146) + (3x55) = 1458 ($2 difference due to rounding)
