| Partywagon Showdown Winner |
Ultimate Partywagon crowned during 2010 NHRA NationalsA partywagon called "WTF?" was crowned the Ultimate Partywagon Saturday night during the 29th Annual Lucas Oil NHRA Nationals at Brainerd International Raceway. The owner of the party-on-wheels is Jim Wright from Minnetonka.
Wright's contraption was one of 10 finalists that were pre-selected by NAPA representatives prior to the judging competition. The main judging criteria was that the entries had to be self-powered (no trailers), they had to be unique and they had to be loaded with partiers. The other nine were impressive as well and were loaded with enthusiastic fans. Second place was from St. Bonafacious, a double-deck rig that had a hot tub in the back. And third place was a giant truck called the Zoo Keeper. For his efforts, Wright won a pair of Superweek tickets to the 2011 Lucas Oil NHRA Nationals and a prize package from NAPA Auto Parts.
