Contest to crown the ultimate BIR Partywagon

NAPA Auto Parts and Brainerd International Raceway are in search of the ultimate Partywagon during the 29th Annual Lucas Oil NHRA Nationals, Aug. 12-15. Up for grabs are two (2) Superweek tickets to the 2011 Lucas Oil NHRA Nationals at BIR, as well as a prize package from NAPA.

NAPA is sponsoring the Partywagon Showdown Saturday night at the BIR Bandstand. The contest starts at 7 p.m., with final judging taking place from the bandstand by a panel of celebrity judges, including Top Fuel Funny Car driver Ron Capps. 

The judging will be slightly different from last year. This year, NAPA Auto Parts representatives will be out and about selecting the 10 finalists prior to the final judging. They will hand out invitations and NAPA stickers that must be displayed on the Partywagon. Those 10 finalists will then parade in front of the bandstand starting at 7 p.m., and will be judged at that time.

The following rules apply to the final judging:

1. No nudity
2. No burnouts
3. No throwing anything off of the vehicle
4. NAPA sticker must be displayed
